SpaceX Ready For Wednesday NASA Launch
Hawthorne-based SpaceX is getting set to launch yet another payload into space for NASA, saying all systems and weather are go for the 6:51 p.m. EDT launch of the NASA Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite (TESS) mission. SpaceX is launching the payload on a Falcon 9 from Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Florida. The rocket and spaceship developer said it will attempt to land the Falcon 9's first stage on the "Of Course I Still Love You" droneship out in the Atlantic Ocean after the launch. The company is, as usual, webcasting the launch on its website.
