Napster Shifts To MP3 Format
Los Angeles-based Napster said Sunday evening that the firm will shift its entire download catalog to MP3 format. Napster said that in Q2 of 2008, all of its single track and album sales will be in MP3 format. Napster said the MP3s will be available both through Napster and Napster To Go. No further details of the move were announced. Napster operates an online music subscription service.
