EDF Renewable Energy Sells Wind Project Stake To Japanese Investor
San Diego-based renewable energy developer EDF Renewable Energy said Tuesday that it has linked up with Japanese company Marubeni Corporation, on its Shiloh IV Wind Project in Texas. According to the two, Marubeni will acquire a 90 percent interest in the 102.5 MW wind project, which will help EDF free up funds for future projects. EDF said it will continue to provide operations and maintenance services for the project, and will retain a 10 percent stake in the project. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
