EDF Renewable Energy Opens 200MW Wind Project In Minnesota
San Diego-based renewable energy developer EDF Renewable Energy says it has put a new, 200 megawatt wind project in Minnesota online. Accoding to EDF RE, the 200MW Red Pine Wind Project is fully operational, and delivering electricity into the Northern States Power Hawks Nest Lake Substation. The wind project generates enough energy to power approximately 92,000 average Minnesota homes. EDF Renewable Energy said the project includes 100 Vestas wind turbines, and is the company's 11th wind project in Minnesota.
