Yuneec Aims At Commercial UAV Market
Yuneec International, the Chinese drone maker which has its U.S. headquarters in Ontario, California, said today that it has launched into the commercial unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) market, with its first product dedicated to commercial use. Yuneec says its new H520 sUAS includes enterprise-grade cameras and mission planning software, with the intent of supplying the public safety, construction, inspection, video production, and other markets. The H520 is bright, "safety" orange, and features six rotors--and is engineered to keep flying even with only 5 operational rotors. Yuneec said the payload for the H520 is "hot swap" capable. Yuneec says it plans to ship the new H520 this fall.
