Vrideo Shuts Down Virtual Reality Video Directory App
Los Angeles-based Vrideo, the developer of an app to help virtual reality enthusiasts find VR videos, is shutting down, the company announced on Monday. The company--which says it had raised a total of $2M--had only launched its platform into beta in March of last year. The company said it is shutting down "in light of the rising costs" associated with the company's growth. The company had said it had over 700,000 installs of its VR apps.
