Twistory Entertainment Being Sold In Asset Sale
Santa Monica-based Twistory Entertainment Studios, which had been a mobile game development and graphic novel design company, is being sold in an asset sale, according to auction company CMA Auctions. CMA said that Twistory's assets--including all of its intellectual property and equipment--is being sold through an assignee for the benefit of creditors (or "ABC") sale on Monday, August 29th. Twistory Entertainment was founded in 2009, and had developed Ouch! Couch and other titles. The public auction notice shows a large number of computers, card table, and Makerbot 3D printer are the few bits of the company's carcass being sold to raise money for those creditors--along with the rights to each one of the company's mobile games.
