Topanga Technologies Gets Funding From Khosla Ventures
Topanga, California-based Topanga Technologies, a firm developing high intensity, discharge lighting products, has quietly raised a round of capital from Khosla Ventures, the venture capital arm of Vinod Khosla. The funding was disclosed by Khosla Ventures Monday in conjunction with the addition of Ford Tamer as an operating partner at the firm. Tamer, who was most recently head of Broadcom's Enterprise Entworking Group, sits on Topanga's board of directors and led the investment. Details of the investment have not been disclosed. Topanga Technologies is headed by Mehran Matloubian, who has served as CTO at venture firm Smart Technology Ventures. More information »
