Tap Starts Shipping Wearable Which Makes Anything A Keyboard
Pasadena-based Tap Systems, a startup which develops a "wearable" which monitors your fingers and makes any surface a virtual keyboard, says it has begun shipping its products to customers. The company, which has been taking pre-orders since November, has created a device which is strapped onto your fingers, and monitors your finger movement to input information through a special app, "TapGenius". Tap says its device works with any Bluetooth device, and takes about an hour to learn how to use. Tap was founded by Dovid Schick and Sabrina Kemeny. The Tap device costs $149.99.
