Strix Systems Gets Rail Win
Calabasas-based Strix Systems announced Monday that the firm's wireless mesh networking hardware has been selected in an installation with the North County Transit District (NCTD) of San Diego. The firm's wireless networking products have been installed as part of a real-time mobile communications system for the rail line. The equipment is being used for remote video surveillance inside trains, tracks, bridges, and tunnels. The install was funded by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
