Strix Gets Win In Finland
Calabasas-based Strix Systems, a provider of wireless mesh networking equipment, announced Wednesday that it has scored a win in Finland. The firm's hardware will be used by the City of Oulu, Finland, for a city-wide wireless network. The network will provide open and free WiFi connectivity for the general public. The equipment install will go toward expanding the city's network, which has been in operation since 2003. Financial size of the deal was not disclosed.
