Sometrics Signs Up Developers
Los Angeles-based Sometrics, which is developing software for gathering analytics around social networking applications, said this morning that the firm has signed up 1,000 developers for its analytics tools. The firm said those developers are participating in the firm's beta test. Sometrics' analytics tools are used to analyze the usage of applications on Facebook, MySpace, hi5, and Bebo. Sometrics is venture funded by the Mail Room Fund, the new investment fund which is headed by Richard Wolpert and which includes William Morris, Accel, and Venrock as LPs; the company's other investors also include AT&T and Greycroft Partners.
