What's the best way to connect physicians with their patients? A new, Glendale-based startup, SnapMD, is hoping to do that through a smart phone, tablet, or your home PC, via a new service. The firm has just raised $175,000 in a seed funding for its yet-to-be released platform. The firm's founders include Rustin Morse, David Skibinski (CEO), George Tierney (COO), and Doug Campbell (EVP Corporate Development), and said it is in the midst of efforts to raise additional funding to complete its platform. SnapMD did not say when it expects its products to be available. Details on the seed funding have not been announced. More information »
