Sketchy Medical Finds $3M More In Series A
Los Angeles-based Sketchy Medical, which helps medical students learn through visually focused, illustrated diagrams, has raised $3M more in its Series A funding round, the company said on Wednesday. The new funds came from Reach Capital. The new funding comes on top of $30M raised by the company from TCG in the same Series A. Sketchy was founded by Saud Siddiqui, Andrew Berg, Bryan Lemieux and Aaron Lemieux, medical students who created a series of sketches with humorous characters and stories to better learn material needed for medical school. The company's CEO is co-founder Saud Siddiqui.
