Siimpel Gets ISO 9001 Cert
Arcadia-based Siimpel, a developer of optical micro electrical mechanical systems (MEMs), said today that the firm has achieved ISO 9001 quality certifications. Siimpel's MEMs semiconductors are being targeted at use in cellular phones for providing autofocus, image stabilization, and related features. The firm said the certification would help the firm provide its customers with the highest-quality products and services. Siimpel is backed by Motorola, QUALCOMM, and Micron Technologies, along with a number of venture capital firms.
