Ring Launches New Ear Piercing Floodlight Cam

Are you sick and tired of the package thieves who have been wandering your neighborhood? The latest product from Los Angeles-based connected doorbell maker Ring might give them pause--or at least, a splitting headache. Ring said on Wednesday that it has launched a brand new product, the Ring Floodlight Cam, which features built in floodlights, two-way audio, and a 110 decibel siren. The camera--like Ring's original Video Doorbell--includes 1080 HD video, speaker, and microphone, which are sent to a user's smartphone, computer, tablet, or other device. The device also includes connectivity into Ring's cloud-based video recoding service, Cloud Video Recording. Ring was offering up the Floodlight Cam for pre-orders at $249.00 on its website.
