Revver Trumpets Rev Share Payments
Los Angeles-based user-generated video site Revver announced last night that the firm has now paid out one million dollars in total to the firm's video creators and sharers. The site provides a revenue split with users who upload videos to the company's web site, splitting advertising revenues 50/50 with video creators and 20 percent with users who upload but did not create a video. Revver did not disclose what percentage of ad revenue went to video creators or video uploaders. Revver has raised more than $8.7M in venture funding from Draper Fisher Jurvetson, Bessemer Venture Partners, and Draper Richards, and is one of a slew of online user-generated video sharing web sites.
