Powerwave Buys Wireless Company
Santa Ana-based Powerwave Technologies said this morning that it has acquired Kaval Wireless, a provider of in-building wireless coverage solutions. The deal is worth $10.8M in cash. Powerwave will also assume selected liabilities of Kaval. Kaval provides turn-key, in-building coverage for the corporate, wireless service, and public safety markets. The company's solutions are used to provide fire, police, medical, security, and other emergency services with extended RF coverage throughout indoor facilities. The companies report that Kaval has an annual revenue run rate of approximately $10M.
