ORYXE Energy Gets Biodiesel Approval
Irvine-based ORYXE Energy, a venture-backed firm developing biodiesel additives, said Tuesday that the firm has received an approval from the state of Texas. ORYXE explained that the approval--the second from the state--allows the firm's additives to be used in the Texas Low Emission Disel Program (TxLED). ORYXE develops an additive which is used to eliminate NOX emissions from burning biodiesel. ORYXE has received funding from DSM Venturing, Galpin Ford, Odyssey Venture Partners, Paladin Capital Partners Fund, Ridgewood Capital, Royal DSM, and SAIL Venture Partners.
