Nimble Updates Social CRM Tool
Nimble, the customer relationship management software developer headed by Jon Ferrara, has updated its online, social CRM tool today, saying that it has added new features such as ways to filter and cut through the noise of online social activity, plus new task management tools to link tasks with contacts and deals. The firm also said it will be soon offering up a feature to help remind people of the last communications with a contact, and when a contact is slipping away. Nimble's new update is heavily focused on making it easier for people to manage their social interactions, including ties into Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, HubSpot, MailChimp and foursquare. Ferrara is applying what he learned by developing one of the original CRM software products, Goldmine, into the new world of online, social contacts. Nimble is backed by such investors as Google Ventures, Mark Cuban, Jason Calacanis, Don Dodge, Dharmesh Shah, and others.
