Nimble Finds $9M In Funding
Santa Monica-based CRM software maker Nimble--let by contact database and software pioneer Jon Ferrara--has raised $9M in a Series A funding, the company announced on Thursday morning. The funding was led by Imagen Capital Partners, and also included Mark Cuban's Radical Investments, Google Ventures, Indicator Ventures plus angels Jason Calacanis, Howard Lindzon and Don Dodge. Nimble has now raised $12.5M in funding, including an earlier seed funding round. According to Nimble, it will use the funding to scale its product, and accelerate product innovation, strategic partnerships, and customer adoption. Nimble offers up its software to Microsoft Office 365 and Google G Suite customers, letting them track their interaction with customers, potential customers, partners, and others. Ferrara helped create the contact management and tracking category way back in the standalone PC desktop software days, when he created Goldmine. More information »
