Nile AI Raises $29.3M
Los Angeles-based Nile AI, a startup developing digital epilepsy care management software, has raised $29.3M in funding from biopharmaceuticals firm UCB. According to UCB, it will be a majority shareholder of Nile, and will have a seat on the board of directors. UCB said that Nile AI was created to improve care for people living with epilepsy, their caregivers, and healthcare providers (HCPs), to provide patients with peace of mind between consultations, with the ultimate goal of shortening the path to optimal treatment. Nile AI is led by CEO Dr. Leo Petrossian.
