Neudesic Powers Rackspace Development Tool
Irvine-based Neudesic, a provider of systems integration and development for Microsoft environments, is behind the release today of a Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 plug-in by Rackspace. According to Rackspace, it has released a tool which directly plugs into Microsoft's development suite, Microsoft Visual Studio 2010, giving developers direct access to control of cloud servers at the hosting provider. Rackspace said the new Rackspace Cloud Plug-In provides a number of tools for rebooting, rebuilding server images, launching servers, scheduling backups, and many other functions within its cloud. Rackspace said the tool was build by Neudesic. No details on the partnership between Rackspace and Neudesic were announced.
