Memeo Launches File Transfer App
Aliso Viejo-based Memeo, which develops consumer backup and synchronization software, announced Wednesday that it has launched a new product for transferring files between business partners and colleagues. The firm said its new product, Memeo Send, allows users to share videos, presentations, and digital images, which are often difficult to send via email or file sites. The firm said the new offering includes tracking of downloads, archiving of content and data, and and email notification to confirm delivery; the software runs on Windows and Mac PCs, and is priced at $0.99 per 2GB of data sent. Memo is venture backed by G51 Capital and Foundry Group.
