iQstor Ships iSCSI Storage System
Newbury Park-based iQstor Networks said this morning that it has released a new IP SAN product targeted at small and mid-sized businesses. The company's new iQ1250 iSCSI Storage System is a Serial ATA (SATA) based product and provides low cost storage area network (SAN) connectivity using existing IP network infrastructure. The company said the product is ideal for companies implementing entry level SANs or migrating from direct attach storage, and who need storage virtualization, snapshot, and mirroring support. The new system is priced from $6,500 with 1TB of storage and virtualization software.
