HipGeo Launches iPhone App
Los Angeles-based Hipgeo, the develope rof a location-aware, smartphone applications service focused on recording and sharing your day with others, said this morning that it has launched its iPhone app. The firm said that the HipGeo app for iPhone allows users to record what they did during the day, and then share their trips and stories with others. The firm's app shares routes, places, photos, and other content with others, which can be shared with user's social networks, embedded in a blog, and more. Hipgeo is backed by Morado Venture Partners, and was founded by Rich Rygg; other investors include Galen Buckwalter, former Chief Scientist at eHarmony, and angel investor Robert Bingham.
