Goodie Goodie Looks To Motivate Kids, Help Parents
Wishing you could get your kids to do their chores and finish their homework? A new, Los Angeles-based startup, Goodie Goodie, said this morning that it has rolled out a brand new app aimed at motivating kids, tweens, and teens to accomplish goals, tasks, and chores. The app--which runs on both iOS and Android--lets kids earn points redeemable for rewards for meeting family goals. Those rewards include electronic gift cards to retailers such as GameStop, Build-a-Bear, American Eagle Outfitters and others, or parent-created awards specifically for those kids. Goodie Goodie said it was created by Elanna Lozow, Arthur Gradstein (iCarly), and Shyna Rose (The Fresh Beat Band), and Justin Klosky, and is free; the company does charge a small fee for each of those electronic gift cards.
