Gateway CEO Resigns
Wayne Inouye, CEO of Irvine-based Gateway, has left the firm after resigning Wednesday. Gateway said that it has named Rick Snyder as the company's interim CEO, after the resignation Wednesday of Inouye. Inouye became CEO of Gateway after the company's acquisition of eMachines. Synder is a former president and COO of Gateway, and is currently on the company's board of directors. Gateway said that it has begun a search for a new CEO, and expects to find someone by late summer.
