FollowMaid Helps Clean Up, Manage Twitter Followers
A new online service, FollowMaid, is looking to neaten up your Twitter account, by automatically pruning out spammers and find new people to follow by keyword. The new service--created by Pacific Palisades software development firm Etronica--is aimed at both individuals and businesses. According to Etronica, the new service automatically scans Twitter accounts, and is designed to help social media managers better manage their Twitter followers. The service--currently in beta--allows users to log in using their Twitter account, and then scans those accounts and lets users know if their followers are normal users, celebrities, spammers, or potential spammers. The tool then lets users follow, unfollow, or block users based on those results.
