ESET Updates Android Security Software

San Diego-based security software developer ESET released an updated security product aimed at Android phones and tablets. According to ESET, it has completely rebuilt and redesigned its EST Mobile Security for Android product, improving scanning, anti-phishing, and adding a brand new user interface. ESET said the software is free, but also includes premium upgrade features. Among other features of the software is protection against phishing and malicious URLs in SMS messages, QR codes, or URLs.
