Cyntellect Raises $15.1M For Expansion

San Diego-based Cyntellect has raised $15.1M in a new venture financing round, the company said Wednesday. The Series D round was led by Third Security LLC's New River Management V fund, along with one of the firm's existing shareholders. Cyntellect said that the funding will go towards hiring personnel, expanding operations, and accelerating development and commercialization of its products. Cyntellect is developing technology for cell imaging, used for life science research. More information »
