Chromatik Gets $1M To Modernize Sheet Music
Los Angeles-based Chromatik, a developer of iPad applications which replace traditional sheet music for musicians, has raised $1M in a funding round, the firm disclosed today. The funding came from musician Bruno Mars, Jeff Ayeroff of Virgin Records, Dr. Jennifer Snow, along with other angels. Chromatik's iPad apps provide digitized, share-able sheet music. The firm is headed by Matt Sandler, and has previously raised funding from MuckerLab, LaunchpadLA, 500 Startups, Learn Capital, Kapor Capital, and others. More information »
