Bid4Spots Adds New Radio Auction Feature
Encino-based Bid4Spots, which runs online reverse auctions of radio airtime, said Tuesday that it has added a new feature to help its advertisers buy unused radio inventory. According to Bid4Spots, its new SpotFill feature will allow advertisers to pick up remaining, unsold spots in their target market after the close of an auction. Bid4Spots operates a service which allows advertisers to buy up unsold radio advertising time; the firm holds weekly auctions of last-minute, radio airtime. Radio stations use the service to fill advertising inventory; advertisers use the service to gain access to lower cost inventory.
