Amp'd Taps Digital Music Distributor
Los Angeles-based Amp'd Mobile, the MVNO targeting the youth market, has tapped The Orchard, a distributor and marketer of independent music. The two companies said this week that they have entered into a partnership, where The Orchard will proivde music and video from its catalogue to Amp'd Mobile's US Customers. Content will include ringtones and full track downloads, along with music videos and classic films. The Orchard owns rights to the 3 Stooges, The Toxic Avenger, early music from Green Day and Coldplay, and others.
