Abalta Technologies Looks To Link Smartphones, Connected Cars
Torrance-based Abalta Technologies, which develops software for the automobile industry, said this week that it has launched a new product which helps sync smartphone driving apps with any connected car. The firm said its new WEBLINK product allows smartphones to become the primary, in-vehicle computing device for cars. Abalta is targeting car manufacturers with its software. The company's CEO is Michael O'Shea, who has previously served at such companies as InfoGation and NAVTEQ.
